We can not thank you enough for allowing us to rent Surf Sounds. It was just fabulous and made for a very memorable Christmas. It is quite obvious the house is very special to you and your family. Everything was absolutely perfect!
In regards to feedback, we so appreciated the detail of the notebook and organization of the house. We have rented several houses in Galveston and other places and this was by far the best in regards to communication and organization of the kitchen and closets. I particularly liked the file with the appliance handbooks, and the labeling in the closets was most inspiring - It makes me want to label our own closets.
Besides the amazing views, wonderful relaxation, inviting heated pool, and great collection of music, one of my favorite things was the fully equipped kitchen. I love to cook and usually spend an entire vacation grumbling about how hard it is to cook in a kitchen without proper utensils/pots and pans. You had it all and then some - it was like cooking in my own kitchen, which made the family meals pleasurable and relaxing!
Again, it was a wonderful trip and we look forward to renting the house again in the future.

| Early in 2005 my family and I started looking for the perfect house for our summer vacation and a special place to meet my parents for their 50th Wedding Anniversay. | Thank you so much for the use of Surf Sounds this last week. My father is disabled and it was wonderful for him to be able to move about easily in your home while watching his grandchildren on our vacation. The pool made it so easy for him to truly get to enjoy the vacation with us, and so relaxing for the adults to kick back in the pool while enjoying the site of the ocean.
We have rented other beach houses in the past and always felt like we were leaving my father out of the fun since he can’t get to the actual beach. With the pool, basketball court, horseshoes, elevator and the large open area on the lower level, your home made it possible to spend quality time with him while still keeping the children active and involved.

| We were ecstatic that we found a home like yours to stay in for our Valentine's retreat. Your home is truly gorgeous and very well appointed. It was so much more relaxing than staying in a hotel, even all the luxury hotels I have stayed in throughout my travels in the US and Europe. The view of the Gulf is spectacular whether your are sitting in the fresh air on the lanai on the main level or off the master bedroom, or sitting in the sun room or the den. I find there is nothing more relaxing than listening to the ocean surf. You’re A/V setup is wonderful, whether you choose to relax to some nice mood music or take in a movie. Thank you for preheating the pool. It made for a wonderful evening just enjoying the warm waters with a glass of my favorite wine.
My wife and I enjoyed our weekend getaway at Surf Sounds so much that we have already booked an extended stay later this summer with our children and grandchildren. Based on our feedback to them, the entire family is counting down the days getting ready for this trip. Our grandchildren love hunting shells and walking in the surf, and of course our adult children love the sun and surf as well. As for my wife and I, we are looking forward to once again experiencing the relaxing feel of your home, the laid back atmosphere only the beach and ocean can provide, the wonderful restaurants we found, and strolling through some of the sections of Galveston that we found had such a quaint charm.
